Register for Virtual NAMICon 2022!
As we’ve all experienced, the pandemic and global events of the past two years have had a profound effect on everyone’s mental health, particularly youth, and young adults. This year’s NAMICon is more important than ever for us to join Together for Mental Health, a timely and appropriate theme for our 2022 convention.
Don’t miss this once-in-a-year opportunity to hear inspiring speakers, like actor Mayim Bialik, and learn from mental health leaders and experts.
NAMICon 2022 will offer more than 30 workshops dedicated to mental health research, crisis response systems, promoting equitable care and support for underserved communities, and youth-focused programming. Highlights from our youth-focused sessions include:
—Using Peer Support Networks to Elevate Adolescent Mental Health and Well-Being
—The Power of Peers: Organizing a NAMI on Campus Chapter
—Mindfulness Mental Health Tools for Young Adults
—What I Wish I Could Tell You About the Internet: Young Adult Perspectives
—Self Advocacy within the College, Academic and Workforce Environments
—NAMI Ending the Silence: Taking Mental Health Education Virtual
Your registration fee includes ALL virtual activities for June 14-16. Additionally, Youth and Young Adult registrants can attend at no charge. Programming for Tues., June 14 is dedicated to our NAMI State Organizations and NAMI Affiliates. General attendees are invited to begin their convention experience with our opening plenary on Wed., June 15, at 10 a.m. ET.
